Name it and claim it?

(2) [My] dearly loved [friend], I am praying that you will do well in everything [materially ?] and that you will have [good] health, just as your soul [i.e., your spiritual life] is doing well.

Is that an amazing thought. John tells us that we are to have a direct proportion between our health and finances and our how our soul is involved in our spiritual life. As we get more spiritual and our soul gets in line with God's word, then we will become more healthy and more prosperous.

This is not a 'name it and claim it' philosophy. It is a live it and claim it style of life. We can not just say what we want, we have to live a lifestyle that is pleasing to God.
