The Goden Sceptre

(11) All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law for him, that he be put to death, except those to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.


What a perfect picture of how we are to approach God. Think about it.

The world thinks about God as the King. No one can approach Him unless he calls Him. If a person does it is to be absolute death.

We on the other hand, believers in God, know, that we can come to God at any time. He holds out the Golden Sceptre to us. That Golden Sceptre has a name of Jesus. Anytime we want to approach God, we know that we will see Jesus reaching out to us.

Go to God any time and talk to Him. He will listen to you.
