Self Giving

October 17, 2008

It had been a long day for Jesus. After ministering to a lot of people, He now hears that his cousin. John the Baptist has been killed by a coward of a King and now He just wants to be alone to meditate and recharge.

Mark 14 (KJV)

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Many of today's preachers would have said leave me alone, but not Jesus.

If you are in ministry, know that there will be times when you are hurting inside. But Jesus did not give on the people and you should not either.

And it is troe of people not in ministry also. Be ready to give to others in your greast time of need.
