How is your heart?

Ezekiel 36 (BBE)
26 And I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you: I will take away the heart of stone from your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit in you, causing you to be guided by my rules, and you will keep my orders and do them.


When we are born again, God takes our stony heart out of us. Do we really have a heart of stone? Of course not in the natural. If it was that way we could not live because the life producing blood could not move through our veins.

Likewise, we can not live in the spiritual realm with a heart of stone. This would be a heart that does not want to do what God wants us to do. When we first receive salvation we have a fresh new heart. Over time though , if we do not take care of it by following what God wants us to do with our lives, it will become calloused and hard.

In either case, that hard heart can be removed with a spiritual heart transplant. A new one can be put in that is soft and pliable. Like any operation, you have to agree to have it done.
