Giving and Getting

Mat 25:29 BBE
(29) For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have more: but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

I read this and thought about what it meant. How does the person who gets, get what he gets? Most likely he worked for it, and worked hard. It is the nature of that person to keep working. In doing so he is rewarded.

But what about the one who has not? He is the one who has done nothing to get anything. If you do not work for it, you get nothing. And just the cost of living will take all that he has.

So many of us think that if we are to get blessings we just set back and let them rain down on us. This scripture tells me otherwise. If we want to get blessings, we need to work for them. Kind of the opposite of what you think. Time to think about what you need to do to get them blessings flowing?
