Psalm 119:113 (Amplified Bible)
113 I hate the thoughts of undecided [in religion], double-minded people, but Your law do I love.
Who matters most to you.? Is it the people you meet every day, the ones that you work with? Or is it God?The other day, my daughter came home from school all upset. Her friend that she thought was a friend had tricked her once again. She had lured her into a friendship only to embarrass her in front of other girls. In my council to her I tried to emphasize that she had lots of other friends that have stood by her through all these attempts at friendship with the problem girl.How often do we get like my daughter? We want the things of this world. We want friendships with those that are in this world and not saved. These give us status. But they make us double minded as well. We can not have what the world has and have the Christian life as well. We need to learn to make friends with the one who sticks closer to us that a brother.
