Headwear

August 16, 2007

Eph 6:17 KJV
(17) And take the helmet of salvation, ....

What would be under your helmet? Your brain. Your brain is your mind. I know it is basic but I will say it any way. Man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. The body part of man is what we would call our mind, will and emotions. So your helmet should protect your mind, will and emotions.

You must know that your salvation is true. Nothing should be able to shake you from it. You should know that you know that you know. Otherwise the devil can get in and say, you are not saved, you yelled at your spouse this morning as you left for work. You can not be saved, you don't do this or do that. At that time you have to say, I know I am saved. I know that Jesus Christ, the anointed one died on the cross so that my sins could be forgiven. If you do not, Satan will run rough all over you. You will begin to question what has been done and when that happens, Satan has you where he wants you as you will not believe any of the other promises in the Word.

Every morning, take some time and tell yourself just what you have because of your salvation. You will then go out in the world with the proper headgear.
