The life of Jesus. Read Today: Circumcision of Jesus Luke 2:21

Luk 2:21 ESV
(21) And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

If Jesus was the son of God, why did He have to be circumcised. Simple reason, it was the law. Jesus did not come to remove the law, He came to fulfill it. In order for the law to be complete in Him, he had to live under the law and not break any of them.

This should be a good example for those of us today who think that some law, govermental or church, does not apply to them, that they are special. Jesus did not break the law, why do we think that we can?
