Embarrass your wife?

19 Her husband Joseph was an honorable man and did not want to disgrace her publicly. So he decided to break the marriage agreement with her secretly.


Here is a woman that claims to be pregnant with God's child. Joseph did not have any sex with her so he knew it was not his. But Joseph was a good man. He did not want to embarrass his wife to be, but he felt that he could not marry one who had not been faithful to him. How many other woman in that era tried to claim the same thing?

Joseph did not want to embarrass her. Even in her unfaithfulness he loved her enough not to see her in pain.

Men, when your wife is not faithful to you, and not just in sex but in all the other ways that she does not respect you, do not embarrass her by talking about her. Use Joseph as your example.
