God's Neighborhood

Eph 2:13 WNT
(13) But now in Christ Jesus you who once were so far away have been brought near through the death of Christ.


We in our lives have been far away from God. We were not even in the same country much less the same zip code. God could never allow us in the same area as He was because of our sin.

Ephesians tells us though that we can now be in the same neighborhood. Was it anything we did. No, we could never be good enough to do it. It was the death of Christ that did it for us. I could never do anything that would allow me to be in that area. Only Jesus could let me talk to God one on one.

We have a privilege that the world does not. Is this the message that we need to bring to the world, that they can know they can approach God without fear?
