(4) And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. ...

A very hard thing to do. We want God to forgive us our sins. How often are we wanting to forgive others their sins against us?

Having that sin against us and not forgiving them allows us to have the trump card. When ever they do anything we can play that trump card and say 'You never change, you are always going to be the same.' Do you realize that God could do the same. He could carry that baggage of what we have done and say 'you will never change'. God does not play the trump card, at least not to us. He gave Jesus to trump Satan, but he will not play it against us, He so loved the world that he sent His Son.

Take some time to think about that when you want to hold something over someone else.
