The Blessing from God

Numbers 6:22-27 KJV
(22) And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
(23) Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
(24) The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
(25) The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
(26) The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
(27) And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
I have heard that people believe that prosperity, healing, and peace are not provided by God, at least not guaranteed in the Bible. I do not know what they are reading because it is clear in these verses that God does want those things.
In verse 24, the Hebrew word for keep means to put a hedge around something to protect it.
In verse 25, the Hebrew word for gracious is to have pity and show mercy.
In verse 26, peace, shalom, not only means peace, but health as well, your body at peace.
All of these things God wants Aaron and the priest to speak over His people.
And we are those people as well. God speaks that over us as well. And we, who are as Paul says in the New Testament, part of the Royal Priesthood, and should speak it over each other.
