Just in Time

Mathew 2:11 (Message)

11 They entered the house and saw the child in the arms of Mary, his mother. Overcome, they kneeled and worshiped him. Then they opened their luggage and presented gifts: gold, frankincense, myrrh.

God is is in the provision business. He did it for Jesus when He was just a child. These gifts that the wise man provided were not held on to by the family, at least not as for as I can tell.

You see God tells Joseph after this event takes place, to get the child and head out of town. Herod wanted to kill Jesus and he wa going to kill a lot of baby boys just to do it. They were going to need money for the trip. And wow, just coincidently here were some very expensive gifts provided just as they are going to be needed.

Next time you get some unexpected blessing, understand that God provides your needs, just in time.
