18John the Baptist did not go around eating and drinking, and you said, "That man has a demon in him!" 19But the Son of Man goes around eating and drinking, and you say, "That man eats and drinks too much! He is even a friend of tax collectors and sinners." Yet Wisdom is shown to be right by what it does.
We as a people tend to complain too much. Especially the place that we worship at. And especially the person that does the preaching. I cannot tell you the amount of times that people have tried to invite me to a meal of roast preacher for Sunday supper.
The fact is that Jesus dealt with it as well. John the Baptist was wild and they said he had a demon. Jesus heals people and they complain that He hangs around those who need to be healed. If Jesus could not escape it then you must stop and think about His words.
The next time you want to complain about a service or a preacher, think of the words of Jesus here.
